Chinese people are surprisingly liberal, yet held back by the Communist Party. There is admiration for the freedom that exists in the US. There are many social issues on the news these days in the US, but I think the US could pat itself on the back here on this one. In addition, Hilary is perceived as someone who can “take on bad guys.” Lastly, I wanted to point out that many Chinese people think that the US President is not a vital aspect of American politics.
Where do you stand on this issue? Will China see a female chairman soon? Is who the US president is a game changer?
希拉里 (xīlālǐ Hilary–advice here: you have to say it quickly for it to sound correct)
